Sociologist, holding a degree from the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires (UBA, Argentina) and a PhD in Political Science from the European University Institute (IUE, Italy).
She has extensive experience as a professor, researcher, and consultant, working both nationally and internationally. Her expertise includes regional integration, public policy, and governance, collaborating with organizations such as MERCOSUR, INTAL, and the UNDP. Since 2004, she has been part of the Argentine National Researcher Program (CONICET), where she also leads the Program of Studies on Regional Integration and Cooperation (PECIR) at FLACSO, Argentina.
Currently, she serves as the Director of the Institute of Social Science Research of Latin America (IICSAL), a dual-affiliated research center between CONICET and FLACSO. Her academic contributions include numerous articles in national and international journals, as well as several books on regional integration, public policy, and governance.
