Andrés Cubillos Novella holds a Ph.D. in International and Intercultural Studies and a European Master’s Degree in Migration, Conflict, and Social Cohesion from the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. Additionally, he has a postdoctoral degree in Mental Health and Migration from the University of Central Florida.
With over 15 years of experience in public health, migration, and social policy, Dr. Cubillos has worked extensively in the educational sector, with international organizations, and in government roles at both national and local levels. He has also served as a consultant for numerous international and national organizations on issues related to health and migration.
Currently, Dr. Cubillos is the Director of Postgraduate Studies at the Instituto de Salud Pública, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He is also a published author of articles, book chapters, and other works in the areas of migration, mental health, and public health.
