Alice Blukacz

Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Manchester, UK, and MSc in International Migration and Public Policy from the London School of Economics, UK.

Since 2020, she has been working as an assistant researcher at the Centre for Intercultural Global Health at ICIM, Clínica Alemana School of Medicine, and the School of Psychology at Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile. She has accumulated experience conducting research on international migration and health in Chile and Latin America, with a focus on inequities in access to physical and mental health services and benefits, social determinants of health, and the promotion of public policies with an intercultural approach to health and human rights.

Currently, she continues her research and has published several scientific articles in international journals such as the International Journal for Equity in Health, Plos One, and BMC Public Health, as well as in national journals like Medwave and Revista Chilena de Salud Pública. She also teaches at the Nursing School of the Universidad del Desarrollo.
